Great ring for a few months only

I bought this ring for my husband as an engagement ring about 4 months ago. It is currently chipping on the blue part. The points that are raised on the blue part of the diamond design started to wear off and now its not shining. There seems to be a silver worn edge to them. I have not yet contacted them for a replacement, however I am assuming the warranty was only the 30 day return. I am now looking at buying him another different engagement ring as this has not even lasted 4 months and will not last until our wedding next September. Looks great at first but unless you are going to get married in the next 4 months don't buy this ring.
